Wheat beers
Liebesbier's selection of wheat beers ranges from light ones to intense Weizenbocks. Wheat beers, very often refered to as Weissbier ("White beer"), are top-fermented beers brewed with a minimum content of 50% wheat malt. Top-fermented yeasts produce predominantly fruity ester notes. Flavors of banana and clove are, for example, typical for classic wheat beers. So-called Hefeweizen variants (yeast wheat beers) are far older than bottom-fermented beers like Pilsner or Export.
