Let us take you on a journey through the world of beer, and experience the fascination of hand craft brewing tradition on an area of 4,500 square meters. At the original headquarters of Gebr. Maisel Brewery you can have a look over the Maisel brew masters' shoulders and see their daily work, you can try more than 120 different kinds of beer at the gastronomy of Liebesbier, you can take part in beer tastings with a sommelier, you can marvel at the brewery museum and buy nice souvenirs in the beer shop.
Maisel's World of Beer Experience
With our audio guide you can roam around freely through our historic brewery - the place where the brewing history of the Maisel family started in 1887. Past forceful steam engines, shiny copper kettles at the brew house, through the hop chamber and the old cooling ships to the big collections of beer glasses, historic steins and valuable vintage enamel signs. But the tour is not only a retrospect look at the historic roots of the brewery it also demonstrates how the craft of brewing has developed further over four generations and what brewing means today.- a time travel over four generations of brewing tradition

Beer shop
On an area of 130 sqm there is something for every beer lover. Nice atmosphere and a selection of around 100 bottled beers you can buy – Maisel beers, of course, but also a big range of beers from all over Germany and from around the world. And there are gift packages, beer glasses and mugs, merch and beer accessories as souvenirs for beer fans, too.- opening hours: Mon – Sat, 11.00 am – 08.00 pm

Bayreuth's catacombs
