Brauerei "Mahr's", mentioned in 1670 the first time in a document and run by the Michel family since 1895, produce a wide range of various beer styles: Pilsner and Helles, a light so-called "Schankbier" (tap beer), Hefe-Weissbier, the "Gig", a malty "Kutscherbier" (drayman's/coachman's beer), as well as a "Weißes Bockbier" (white) and a "Helles Bock" (pale), both brewed when the cold season starts. But the top of this big range is their naturally cloudy "Ungespundet" (unbunged), served in the brew pub and in their beer garden still on tap from wooden barrels.
The delicious "U" - for Ungespundet - is not only characterized by a heavenly taste experience but enables every beer fan to order another one even after the enjoymant of several pints without trouble of articulation, as all you have to do is to utter the two vowels "a U" and every waiter knows what their guests desire.
