Oliver Lemke is the founder of Brauerei Lemke. He has been brewing his beers in Berlin since 1999. Then, his equipment consisted of a homemade welded brewing plant located in a run-down commuter train vault near Hackescher Markt. Today, the brewery is equipped with cutting-edge technology. Oliver Lemke started his remarkable and exciting success story in 1999 with a brewing diploma and a bank loan of DM (Deutsch Marks)  300,000.  Meanwhile, he is responsible for more than 140 employees and runs three brewing plants and four restaurants.  They cater for around one million guests and beer lovers every year. And what's more, he brews more than 5,00 hectoliters of top-quality beer annually.
