Camba Bavaria, short: Camba, is a privately owned brewery based in Trutlaching, which is part of the municipality Seeon-Seebruck in Chiemgau. The brewery is active in the craft beer sector nationally and internationally but also brews traditional beers and ranks as a specialist for barrel-aged beers. The name 'Camba Bavaria' is a combination of the old Latin word 'Camba', the name of the room that monks used to brew and bake, and the indication of their regional home 'Bavaria'. In Celtic language 'camba' is also name for the copper brewing kettle. Trutlaching, the place of the company's headquarters, was a Celtic settlement at the time around 500 BCE. Freshly tapped beer and handmade bread: At “Camba” beer enyoymnet, culinary art and togetherness come together.
