Saison Dupont

Saison by Brasserie Dupont

Brasserie Dupont is a Belgian institution and is known far beyond the country's borders. The most popular beer from the house of Dupont is their season. This Belgian saison is not just one of the many beers that fall into this category, it is the grandmother of all saisons. The classic from Belgium is considered by beer experts to be the origin of the seasonal beer and was first brewed more than 175 years ago. Dupont's season presents itself in a tempting copper blond in the glass and seduces with a wonderful scent of spicy wild herbs and tangy lemon at the first sip. The initial sip reveals what the scent promised: a fine, tangy mixture of sour lemon, freshly cut herbs and soft malt. A hint of white pepper and a fine bitterness give the beer that certain extra and skilfully round off the aroma play. The finish is delicately tart and lingers on the tongue for a long time with its dry bitterness. Dupont's Saison continues to mature in the bottle after completion. The brewery's own yeasts ensure that the unmistakable taste is intensified and also guarantee a long shelf life.
