Take a Sip of Europe!
This beer is the result of the seventh "Project Maisel," an initiative in which our apprentices in their final year of training are given the opportunity to create their very own beer together. The inspiration for their project is our home—Europe—a continent home to a vast array of people. The hop varieties used are just as diverse: various aromatic profiles combine to produce an incomparable flavor—a bold, character-filled IPA. Much like the beer itself, the apprentices are a colorful mix. Twelve apprentices—each with distinct personalities, strengths, and professions—united by a single goal: to craft their own "masterpiece." *Europia* stands for diversity, solidarity, and creativity, as well as for a European identity that is lived out openly, vibrantly, and with self-confidence. In the glass, EUROPIA presents itself with a radiant golden glow. The combination of six European hop varieties unfolds into a multifaceted aroma: herbal and grassy notes evoke hints of mint, lemongrass, lemon balm, and lavender. These are joined by fruity accents of raspberry, mandarin, lychee, and bergamot, which elegantly underscore the bouquet. Despite its 6.3% alcohol content, this European-style IPA feels pleasantly light and highly drinkable, revealing its complexity to the palate with every sip.
