Liquid Story Brewing – Knowledge is power #2

The Knowledge Is Power beer series from Liquid Story enters the second round. Here again two beers were brewed parallel to each other. The Liquid Story Knowledge Is Power IPA #2 (blue can) Experimental (with wine yeast) and as a counterpart the Liquid Story Knowledge Is Power IPA #2 (white can) - Reference (without wine yeast). The latest delicacy, the Knowledge Is Power IPA #2 (with wine yeast) in the blue can, was brewed with Strata, Columbus, Nelson Sauvin and Cascade hops and has an alcohol content of 7.5% vol. The wine yeast used here has metabolic characteristics that conventional brewer's yeasts do not have. In the nose, strong passion fruit and gooseberry aromas ensure a special freshness. A dry body and a pleasant bitterness complete the overall flavor profile. By adding the special wine yeast, a slight sweetness crystallizes over time. For better comparability, the brewery has created a reference beer without wine yeast. It's best to try both.
