Chimay – Grande Reserve Bleue
Quadrupel (Trappist) by Chimay
A strong quadruple from Belgium. Brewed in a Trappist monastery!
Chimay Bleue is the strongest beer from this brewery. The aroma of fresh yeast is carried by an aromatically intense body, with a gentle floral aroma on the nose. The Chimay Bleue has a slightly peppery taste with pleasant roasted notes of malt, cocoa and an almost port wine-like character. It is the classic among the Chimay beers. Traditionally re-fermented in the bottle, this beer ages wonderfully at cellar temperatures for years to come.
