Becher – Kräußen

Kellerpils by Becher Bräu

The Becher Bräu Kräußen Pils is a Bayreuth original and an integral part of the local beer landscape. The light, unfiltered beer with its natural yeast haze shines at us with its lemon-yellow body from the glass even before the first sip. The picture is rounded off by a rich foam with a slight yellow color; this type of foam formation is the trademark of master brewer Johnny Hacker. The carbon dioxide bubbles that rise in the beer being poured are called “kräußen” and are crucial for the formation of foam. A fresh mix of citrus fruit scents, along with grassy and herbal notes, surprises the recipient's nose when they smell the Becher Bräu Kräußen Pils for the first time. The hop bitterness of the beer is expressed in a pleasantly clear herbaceous note when drunk. The citrus freshness also underlines the Kräussen Pilsner in the mouth, and there is also a suitable bready body with a fine hint of nuts and a slight tartness. A wonderful light beer for every occasion and in every weather. By the way: The Becher Bräu Kräußen Pils was only offered in draft for the first time. It has only been available in bottles since 2004. "rustic - cozy - Franconian" ... Cheers!
