Maisel & Friends - Slyrs Bock - Barrel Aged 2022

Our friendship with the Slyrs distillery at Schliersee has existed for many years and is mainly characterized by our regular barrel exchange. It enables us to create fantastic whiskey beer specialties. For example, the Slyrs Single Malt Whiskey Oktoberfest Edition first matured for five years in the Slyrs warehouse, then nine more months in Maisel & Friends beer barrels. And we do the same thing and let our beers mature in barrels that were previously filled with whiskey from Schliersee.
For a period of twelve months, our traditional bock beer was matured in whiskey barrels from the Slyrs distillery in Schliersee. With a peaty touch, the amber-colored specialty not only delights whiskey lovers - and at the same time convinces with intense, malty notes and an aroma of chocolate, caramel, vanilla, almonds and some coconut. The taste journey continues with pleasure, revealing notes of orange and tangerine and changing with every degree of temperature.
